@Dark Knight suggested jumping in on the end of the 2015 52 for a bit of practice in advance of foolishly thinking I might enter the 2016 challenge and I already feel out of my depth. Anyway I hope this is the right idea, start a thread, post pictures, how hard can that be

Yeah well I thought I's get in before someone else did, I had a look through and was a bit surprised that no one had done it already

Nice simple shot that fits the theme well, and very effective, really like how well the head is separated from the background by the DoF chosen, really like the composition too - good start

I agree, number one all the way, captured a great sense of force in the water though the fence posts, nature showing us who is in charge, like it
