Hi Jon, welcome to the 52's

Linear is a superb shot to start your project with, lovely soft tones but strong lines on the pages.

The closed book idea is very clever, I think I prefer the first shot without the hand in it.

Bubble, again very clever. There are a few stray bits of 'bubble' on the left and right hand side that I would clone out. I think I'd like to see a little bit more of the top of the bottle.

Thanks Marsha for your input.

How about this?

I didnt get anything either lol. So to ease my pain I say its all a con to get us to spend more money! Lol

Just noticed that there are some half bubbles around the top of the bottle on my bubbles shot. I will re edit that, hopefully for the final time, tomorrow.

That's better for bubble.

The heart smoke is lovely.

Oh I never got anything either for Valentines day. My hubby felt guilty as I got him a card and new phone case (something practical not commercialised carp), he ran to the shop that day and got me a card and huge bar of chocolate!

great work so far love the smoke heart. first class image

Close: 2nd version with the hand in for me. Amazing lighting, and like how you can see the little hairs on the top of your hand. Very accomplished set, all very nice, and clear proof that you know how to plan and execute and idea (y)

Bubbles: First version on this one for me..I think the shadow on the bottom of the hand helps focus attention more on the product / subject. In the 2nd shot, I feel that with the shadows lifted, the hand just seems to prominent. Cloning out the bracelet on an untouched version # 1 one would be my final edit suggestion. (y)

smoke: Well you know yourself thats a nice image..Again proof that you know how to handle a camera and lighting. Very nicely done. Guess my only small crit would be the very bottom section where they meet, stands out a little where the colour is noticeably different

Bubbles, I want sure at first, but after for wing again, I rather like the cartoon feel of the bubbles.

Smoke is one of the best I've seen for a while. Cracking detail and well composed.

Cheers.

Great smoke image, having shot smoke for the first time in this 52 I can now appreciate just how tricky it is.

Bubbles - most ingenious - I'm liking that very much indeed - especially the final version.

Smoke - well I'm pretty much smoked out now - damned awful topic but this is one of the most appealing I've seen.

Once it was set up and the incense was burning. I just had the remote release and sat watching a movie constantly pressing the shutter untill the incense ran out. I knew I wanted to do a heart but just had to hope for the best that I would get a usable image. My plan b was to play with the liquify tool in ps

Thanks Everyone :)

I have just finished my final? edit on the bubbles shot.

What do you think?

Bubbles is a very good idea and I like the way you have shot it.

Smoke: I like the X-ray effect. Nice shapes and sharp too.

Bubble is excellent, lovely PP - could be an advert for Lynx.

Smoke, again another good shot that is well lit. Reminds me of some Tool (band) imagery from the album Undertow

Well done mate (y)

Liking your idea for bubbles, well shot.
Also like smoke pic, well lit.

Bubbles - Not for me I'm afraid. The bubbles just look too false. Sorry.
Smoke - This on the other hand is superb. Not only is the smoke well captured but you've seen something in it to create the heart shape. Great work.
