Challenge complete for this week Stan :)

Well spotted... we see so many things discarded apart from when we're looking for them...

Sometimes it's good just to get it out of the way quickly. An good shot Stan, it meets the challenge well.

Rose looks a bit tired/bruised. The focus seems to be on the lower leaf on the rhs
Perhaps a bit rushed?
Still a lovely capture.

For a quick and simple shot, it looks great! The water droplets really add to the picture too.

Nicely done rose Stan.

An unusual urban contemporary sculpture. A life-sized piece of art in the shape of a tree represents a growing community. Designed and sculptured by the same company as the Kelpies. It is made of galvanised mild steel and stands around 3.5metres (11ft) tall.
I've been waiting patiently for a couple of evenings for a nice sunset in order to add some interest to the image rather than a shot during the daylight.

Week 14 Unusual

Going by the colour, I thought it might be verdigris so could be a copper beech...

Great image Stan of a great sculpture. Is it illuminated at night?
Andy Scott has produced some phenomenal sculptures, The Kelpies, Arria in Cumbernauld, The Dun-Bear in Dunbar to name a few

Thanks, Duncan. No its not lit at night. Same around here, we have this Kinion Tree, Poised the leopard and Mother Earth in Aberdeen and all designed by Andy Scott.

Lovely image and indeed, very unusual.
Thanks, Simon.
