Cheers Andy. There's only so much I can do hand held, and I'm sure I'd get into trouble with the BTP and/or private security if I used a tripod. I should look for a place where I can sling my gorilla tripod around a railing...

Hi Bernd two bang on theme shots, I really like the composition with the stairway in M/F shot, really balances it well.
Lots of action captured in the station, love those blurry ghostly figures in among the crowd.

I was thinking of doing something like this.
I think the exposure was long enough, you have both static and moving people. Too much longer and it would have just been blurs, not sure if that would have worked quite as well.

I do like your composition for male and female - it puts the focus on the signs perfectly. Love your out and about, though - the shutter speed is just right for me too, leaving some people static.

Yesterday we've been at Kew Gardens where they celebrate something with seasonal lights. I didn't bring a tripod, so not many keepers and not terribly inspired, but... I'm done! I've completed my first season of 52s.

I've not been to Kew Garden since I was a kid, as it's only 4 miles down the road, maybe I should make an effort for next year. (Mind you, I've had a few jars in the Greyhound & the Cricketers on the Green )
That really is a nicely lit shot of the Palm House. The rays off the lights are particularity effective.
