Thanks Paul.Beautifully executed... that's making me thirsty!
Tiny mark on the lemon rind at two o'clock, but not enough to make me send the drink back!
Thanks Dominic. I did struggle a little with the bottonm of the glass.Fruit
Good white background, the lemon standout well. The glass is losing a bit of detail around the edges at the bottom, but it's not the end of the world.
Thanks Ian.Nice & bright & fresh looking. Works really well.
Thanks for the comments Mandy.Week 0 - I love it plenty of detail when viewed on Flickr, love the bright blue sky.
Week 1 - Wow what a great start to your challenge, perfectly exposed, good composition.
Cheers Dave.Fab fruity pic Pete
Thanks Alison.looks very refreshing, clean and simple it works well.
Thanks Jim. You're very right - it does have a lean to it on closer inspection!Great use of the bright background and the lemon is a lovely splash of colour. Really good size i the image too. But, (sorry) is it leaning to the left ever so slightly (or is it my didgy eyes?)?
Thanks Alex. I never thought of trying it with still water. I was going for even more of a sparkle but the bubbles disappeared almost immediately after pouring.Great composition and lighting! The only thing I can pick, and this would be really picky is that the bubbles are a tiny bit distracting and I wonder if still water would have also worked?
That being said - the colours and overall in your face brightness and cheeriness (sorely needed now!) are great!
Thanks AlanAs mentioned a bright sharp image, very good indeed
Thanks Tim.Nicely done Pete. The slight vignette bottom left helps to ground the glass I believe (at least I think it's that giving the shot ground).
Thank you David.Pleasing image, nicely executed.
Thanks Helen. Much appreciated. Now that's the best use of fruit! A lovely shot... sharp, crisp and really well executed. I am very impressed!
Cheers Chris. That's a very clean looking image Pete.
A great take on the theme too.
Thanks Dave.Cracking fruit shot Pete, very well shot.
Thanks Stan. Much appreciated. That's a beauty and looks very refreshing too. I love it.
Thanks a lot Susie.Fabulous shot,, beautifully executed and not easy on a white background from me too.
Cheers Tom.Great lighting in this photo, looks lovely and refreshing!
Thanks Nick. You're right - I should have got rid of that.Really nice!
I love how clean it is. The only tiny thing I would change is the little black speck at 2 o'clock on the lemon peel.
Cheers David.Splendid. The shaped glass really gives it a bit more.
Thanks Tim.Good use of the snow to put the boots into the environment.
Cheers Jim.Nice PoV here and using the snow to add the perspective to the image is great.
Thanks Paul. The boots aren’t getting as much use as I’d like at the moment.A good image of a proper pair of boots.
Cheers Dave. Can't beat a good dirty pair of walking boots, nice shot.
Thanks Chris. There's nothing like sticking the boot in, from the off
Nice descriptive image Pete.
Cheers Stuart. It was starting to rain when l shot it so l was in and out without too much messing around,Definitely the boots for this time of year, don’t know if positioning them fully in the snow would make them more focused
Thanks Susie.Super close up shot Pete, lots of detail in there, I like the hint of slushy snow.
Thanks Bebop. Quite a depth of snow on Thursday but it’s nearly all gone now.You have snow! I wish I'd thought of this, my boots are currently very muddy!
I really like that you haven't included the whole boot, but there's enough around it to give context. Depth of field is perfect.
Thanks Allan.I like the angle you have used and it’s a subject that’s perfect for the theme
Cheers Alex.Great PoV, and definitely hits the mark for the theme!!
Thanks Helen. These boots are made for walking! Good muddy detail.
Much appreciated Dominic.Dirty
Good contrast between the browns of the dirty boots and the white of the snow.
Thanks Clive.Week 1 Fruit, very nice detail in the lemon.
Week 2 Dirty boots in the snow a nice composition, glad we rarely see that down here!
Thank you David.Great in-yer-face boot.
Thanks Alison.Dirty - nice use of the snow to set the scene .
Thanks AllanNice simple image with a great white background really like that
Cheers PaulA nicely taken image with good lighting and control of DoF
Thanks StanSimple and very nicely lit.
Cheers TimNicely done. not much that can be said !
Thanks DaveAgree with what's been said, great shot and BG.
Cheers daveIt's a beaty!
Thanks DominicStone(s)
Good set up, I like the white background and patterns in the pebbles.
Thanks David. I did try grouping them closer but I didn't much like it. My main aim was to get the striped inclusions running more or less in the same direction.I like this, good detail in the FG stone, showing a pleasing DoF, well lit too.
But ... the three BG stones look a bit lost, a bit awkward. I'm wondering if it would look more natural if all four were together, touching, with the focus still on the FG stone. Either that or the BG stones more randomly placed/distanced.
Thanks Alisonsimple but effective nicely focused on the front stone
Thanks DavidNicely set up and captured. Really like this one.
Thanks BebopThe white background works nicely with the lighter streaks in the stones. Good detail in the front stone and nicely lit.
