That's what a lot don't realise, its the talons you have to watch, sure he can peck, but those talons are needle sharp,
and once in, they "lock"!

Beautiful bird, right on theme, but photo wise a slightly lower PoV would have probably been better... :)

I agree, but you have no idea what the ground was like just in front of that rock, that's as far as I could bend, I certainly wasn't going to kneel in it :D
 
I shall celebrate the end of my 2016 52, similar to how it all stated, with a gob shot of one of my long suffering models

Cor! this is Spike's final appearance in TP52 2016 !!! Got to know him so well during the year that he featured in my Christmas card list.

TBH It got harder and harder the last couple of months, work is manic and yet this time of year it usually quietens down,
if it's like this in the winter God knows what it'll be like in the summer!
I'm thinking that I may pass on this one TBH
