weekly Cobra's 52 surreptitious Shoe-horns for 2016 week 52 celebrate and done

Betcha wouldn't dare call him a Muppet when he's untethered !!! Awesome talons ... especially those Centre Claws.

By the skin of your teeth Chris !!! -
Indeed Dean indeed :D

well in time, with Dean above no shoehorn required

It is outside, some hawk that is(y)
Its a little male Harris' hawk. gentle as a lamb, unless of course you are a rabbit / pigeon / rat etc ;)

Good to see Muppet ready for action Chris, and spot on for the theme too :)

Male/Female; yep first shot defo an Alpha Male. About and Out; looks like the shot was taken outside!
As Dean said by the skin of my teeth :D

Betcha wouldn't dare call him a Muppet when he's untethered !!!
Oh he doesn't mind, Carl, I can call him anything I like as long as its not late for dinner :D

Awesome talons ... especially those Centre Claws.
That's what a lot don't realise, its the talons you have to watch, sure he can peck, but those talons are needle sharp,
and once in, they "lock"!

Thanks for dropping by, Guys and Gals (y)

Spot on Chris, you and Muppet where out and about and (s)he certainly looks the part.

Cheers Chris, its a little male, hunts at about 1lb 6oz.

Beautiful bird, right on theme, but photo wise a slightly lower PoV would have probably been better... :)

Thanks Bernd :)

I agree, but you have no idea what the ground was like just in front of that rock, that's as far as I could bend, I certainly wasn't going to kneel in it :D

I shall celebrate the end of my 2016 52, similar to how it all stated, with a gob shot of one of my long suffering models
I give you ....... Spike :)

Cor! this is Spike's final appearance in TP52 2016 !!! Got to know him so well during the year that he featured in my Christmas card list.

Well done for finishing and for surprising everyone with some on theme moments, have a good new year (y)

The thought of a bonus image made me nervous  but I clicked through anyway and I wasn't disappointed :p

Cheers Guys (y)

you make me smile, I've thoroughly enjoyed your 52's Chris.
I really appreciate that, thanks Susie :)

Wonder what next year will bring

As for the coming year, I've made an early new years resolution, to play it straight, stick to the themes, no gob shots or other animal parts .... (y)

Just so you are aware, my new years resolutions never last past midnight :D

Haha...two classic Cobra images to end the year! Thanks so much Chris - looking forward to 2017 :)
LOL Thanks Emma I look forward to seeing you in the next one (y)

Hahaaaaa finishing in style
Ended as it started ..... Its called the circle of life :D

actually finishing a full 52, amazing staying power from you,
TBH It got harder and harder the last couple of months, work is manic and yet this time of year it usually quietens down,
if it's like this in the winter God knows what it'll be like in the summer!
I'm thinking that I may pass on this one TBH

see you in the 2017 threads
But of course I'll still be here doing what ever is necessary, sorting out the problems moving stuff about deleting the "donut" posts etc etc.
Oh and I may even get a chance to pull a theme or two as well :p
