Loving the colours and having two of the same without it being a reflection.
Didn't have a clue on the book, sorry.
Clever take on the book title, I've not read the book but I think I have seen bits of the film, a mixture of drugs and gambling.
Book - I had not heard of the book but can see how the image would suit it. I agree with your choice for the main thread, I like the lights in it.
Great set of shots and info for WINTER. As for BOOK, I like the first of the three. Interesting idea!
Super techniques used there, I like the first one best
Book
I think they're all pretty good, love the colours, the effects and the link with the theme.
I wish I knew... They make no sense to me at all!Only a slight shoe horn Alex
That's an interesting take on the theme
But I just have to ask why are they there?
Nice different take on the theme and very unusual.
That is really bizarre but good take on the theme. Well spotted.
Some of them are perfectly good shoes! I think it is right on theme, nicely captured!
Blimey, there must be one hell of a lot of drug dealers sharing that space !
It's certainly an odd sight.
Transport
I like your thinking and the unusual subject. I think I would have concentrated on a smaller area, maybe the end ⅓ of the tree.
Fence - Nice set, I really like the one you chose for the main thread. It has a cool 1950's/1960's look to it and also illustrates the situation we find ourselves in very nicely. Great job!
Book - Interesting Images nice and colourful. I've never heard of the book sorry
Transport - I took me a while to get this! nicely seen and great take on the theme.
Fence - Nice set of images I think I prefer the 2 nd one personally but they are all good.
Interesting to read that people's behaviour over there is similar to here in the UK. Anyway, back to the image. I like your thought process in #2 & #3 but would like to see the wire fence in focus being the theme subject.
Anyone of these shots are a good pic for the main thread, but do think you picked the right one. Nice and gritty looking shot.
I like the processing on all these Alex.
#1 is my favourite though.
I think #1, and I quite like the grain. There is sufficient fence to have it on theme and topical too.
I like the grainy processing - adds to the message. I think you chose the right one for the theme.
Never really enjoy grainy processing. This is an exception. Looks like a still from an eighties rock video!
Lovely detail nice an sharp (sorry).
You certainly have more patience than me!stack of 22 images in PS with both a 10 and a 24mm extension tube on quite a small cactus.
