weekly Viv1969's Try at 52....The Sequel....2016 Week 50, 51 & 52.... And finished

Ooo nicely set up Ruth, a bit creepy that you know what it should look like ;) the placement of the crossed spoon and needle are really effective at focusing my eye, like this one :)

What can I say?...I watch a lot of "art house" movies. :)
Thanks Dean

Great photo Ruth, excellent lighting and composition!

This was my other idea (first one was Carl's), but the syringe I've bought on eBay hasn't yet arrived...

Thanks Bernd.
The Coke (cola) in the syringe is (obviously) a secondary prop....the syringe, well, I have plenty. ;)

Great take on the theme Ruth a powerful imgae.

Thank you Mark. :)

Lovely composition and well lit. Love the contrasting white powder against the black bg.

Cheers Stan, I'm not sure a real user would scatter him around willy nilly. :D

Phew...the eggs survived and live to fight another day - I was a bit worried when I saw the theme Ruth! Very clever set up and nicely done - you're worryingly good at these drug inspired shots ;)

Thanks Em.
Yes, a tragic accident involving Eggbert and Co. was very high on my list of possibilities. He lives to fight another day. (And no comment on the latter part! )

Works perfectly for the theme Ruth, as Stan says it's nicely set up against the black background.

Thanks Susie. :)

Yeah, tip of the needle isn't in focus ;)

On theme, quite gritty, and dishevelled.

Cheers.

You get your legs smacked next time I see you :D

Perhaps missing a night light (or other similar heat source).
Nicely done. Not sure how you could have kept the needle in sharp focus and still have the 'powder' OoF top right.

Cheers Tim.
I tried several different methods.
Lack of patience won out. :D

Dont you use a tourniquet ruth, nice job puts you in high regard.:wacky:

Cheers Walter.
Tourniquet not required when you inject directly into the eyeball ;)

Surely in that case the Tourniquet is placed firmly around the neck?

Thanks Chris.
But it's taken me a week to stem his blubbering.

Ha ha cracki.... I mean um .....terrific image Ruth. Could say TP52 has brought you out of your shell ... could say that, but I won't. Very well conceived - particularly like the blue rinse.

been wondering if anyone was going to show us a -topical- scary clown. Good thinking Ruth.

Really clever Ruth poor Mr Egg..... Maybe he would be better try out for a role in Eggnog.................:exit:

Hahaaa thats great, I recognise that face just above me - Bah Humbug

At this time of year, that's his biggest fear! :D
Thanks for commenting. :)

Aww...tell him I think he looks terrifying ;)
Brilliantly accessorised and shot as always Ruth :)

Thanks Em.
I told him and he's a bit cheerier now. :)

I have yet to post one for Pose....I'm getting to it!

Week 45 - POSE

Utter shoe horn / Place holder, but he DID pose.....Insisted I got his best side too. :)

Well its kind of an egg shot, as I'm sure he was one at some point :D
Cracking image, love the DoF too Ruth :)

Thanks Chris. He was busy at the time. ;)

Wow...is that a baby vulture? Very nicely done - great detail around the eyes Ruth. Shoehorns like this are highly forgivable :D

He's fully grown, Em, and was busy feeding at the time.
Got properly stroppy having the camera pointed at him... Hence the glare!
Thanks for looking. :)

Really like that Ruth not a shoehorn at all. Great detail and lovely catchlight in the eye.

Great pose, excellent light, colours and DoF!
