Liquid - Having seen your reply to @sirch, I think you nailed what you set out to achieve.
Nicely done.
Cracked - Certainly fits the theme, B&W works. Is this one where stacking would help keep it all in sharp focus?
Like the fact that the cracks have a dual role as primary subject and as a lead-in to the vanishing point of the path. Good find Stan and excellent compo.
Hi Stan
Haha, that made me chuckle. The B&W image for sure. It's darker and the fade to black at the bottom makes Mrs rpn float.
Cracked Re-Shoot - On theme, so a good find.
Very unusual ... wonder what it's meant to portray ... washed up by the sea? Nicely taken Stan with all the details and colours retained in the sky. (Scotland = Brrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr !!!)
Nice find Stan ..... I couldn't resist Googling it, apparently it's to do with Paphos and the City of Culture 2017, it looks as if there are some fabulous sculptures along the seafront.
Chuckle at @Dark Knight's comment, I was thinking something very similar myself.
Nice use of DoF to lose the distractions in the background, yet you've still managed to retain interest in the sky.
Cracked is well spotted Stan - they work so well as leading lines. Interesting staue, too with good pov and depth of field.
Spooky made me laugh out loud - Mrs rpn is a star! The colour version works best for me I think.
Cheers everyone for the comments and kind words apologise for not able to reply and thanking individually and lack of commenting on others. Trying to catch up with the UK life now I'm back in the cold and wet Scotland.
This guy been standing outside my local newsagent everyday for years and as far as I can remember. Not entirely happy with the reflection on the board due to the low sun. I could've took a couple of step to my left to avoid it but would've ended up with the other sandwich board being too distracting. Also there was a drunk, yes that early, sitting on the steps of the doorway behind!
